Netmarble's Tower of God, inspired by the popular webtoon series, is gearing up for a significant update with the introduction of two new characters, enhancing the game's already rich universe. This update not only brings fresh faces but also introduces the Pioneer's Remnant System, tailored for seasoned players who have mastered the challenges within the iconic tower.

The first new addition is Xia Xia, an SSR+ Elite Spy with the Red Element, featuring Support and Light Bearer Tags. On the other hand, Zahard makes his debut as an Adventurer with the Green Element, Warrior and Fisherman tags. Zahard marks the introduction of the new XSR+ grade, the first of its kind in Tower of God: New World. This new grade is designed to differentiate characters that are either an IF (imaginary) version of an SSR+ character or have an alternate appearance. While XSR+ characters share animations and skills with their SSR+ counterparts, their unique Revolution skills set them apart.

These new characters are further enhanced by the introduction of the Pioneer's Remnant System. By clearing Hard Mode, players can earn the titular resource, which can be traded for growth materials and other rewards, ideal for those who have already conquered the game's toughest challenges.
