Ubisoft has recently released an exciting new trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows, spotlighting the robust features of its PC version. The trailer showcases the game's advanced support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, which promise to deliver stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. Players can also look forward to compatibility with ultra-wide monitors, enhancing their immersive experience. The inclusion of Ray-Traced Global Illumination (RTGI) and Ray-Traced Reflections (RT Reflections) adds a layer of realism that fans are eager to explore.

A notable feature for the PC version is the built-in benchmark tool, designed to help players test and optimize their system's performance. This tool will be invaluable for those looking to fine-tune their settings. Ubisoft has also ensured that the game caters to a wide range of PC specifications, with extensive settings available for lower-spec systems.

For those aiming to play at 1080p with 30 FPS, the minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, alongside an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) GPU. However, if you're targeting a more demanding setup at 4K with 60 FPS and ultra settings, including advanced ray tracing, you'll need a beefier setup with an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, paired with an RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft's collaboration with Intel for Assassin's Creed Shadows suggests strong optimization for Intel processors. While performance on AMD systems will be evaluated after the game's launch, fans are hopeful that the game will steer clear of the stuttering issues that plagued earlier entries in the series. The recent title, Mirage, showed significant improvements in this area compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, raising expectations for Shadows.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is set to launch on March 20 for both PC and consoles, promising a thrilling addition to the iconic franchise.
