Frequently Asked Questions

1. I can't log into the app—it gives an error or keeps logging me out. What could be the reason?

There could be several reasons for this. First, ensure you have an internet connection and are using the latest version of the app. Common causes for these issues include:

a. Your Interactive user account does not match your VIU user. (This causes the app to fail.)

b. You have a VIU user, but it hasn't been activated or lacks the necessary permissions. (You will usually just see a blank screen in the app.)

c. Your session has expired. (User sessions expire after set periods. Tap the authority button in the top right to log out, then log in again.)

2. How can I reset my password?

Our system works in sync with Interactive. You can reset your password there.

3. I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?

Make sure you have allowed the app to send notifications. You can check your permissions in Settings > Apps > Parent Communication Triangle. If the issue persists, try logging out and logging back in.

4. Why are there so many frequent updates?

We are continuously improving the application. Beyond parent-teacher communication, there are multiple user levels and permission tiers. Therefore, some updates are specific to certain stages or focus on performance enhancements.

5. My issue isn't listed here, or the solutions didn't work. What can I do?

You can contact us at [email protected] by including your username, device model, and app version. You can also tap the "Support" button from the app's drop-down menu on the right to send an automatic support request.
