The player supports UPnP DLNA, allowing it to operate as a DMR (Digital Media Renderer). File access is managed through the user-controlled Storage Access Framework (SAF).

It delivers full-featured SSA/ASS subtitle support. Users can add and manage custom font files. Subtitle dimming is available for comfortable viewing with high-contrast HDR and Dolby Vision content, and the font size is adjustable.

Support for SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) subtitle formats is also included (starting from version 5.1). All subtitles can be embedded in MKV files or loaded externally. During playback, users can select a single subtitle file or a compressed package in Zip/7Z/RAR format.

This player handles HDR/DV content, digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, audio track selection/delay, and subtitle selection/time offset. It also displays the frame rate and can auto-adjust the refresh rate.

Dolby Vision playback is successful on NVIDIA Shield TV 2019. Videos can be rotated as needed and zoomed to full screen using pinch gestures.

The player was originally designed for segmented file playback. These files use the m3u8 (HLS media playlist) format, initially for TS files but now compatible with mp4 and flv formats.
