Monster Hunter Wilds has achieved a remarkable feat by selling over 8 million units in just three days, making it Capcom's fastest-selling game to date. Monster Hunter Wilds is Capcom's Fastest Selling Game, Moving 8 Million Copies in 3 Days

Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has set a new record for Capcom, selling over 8 million units within three days of its release. This achievement marks the fastest-selling title in Capcom's history, as officially announced on their website. The game's success is further evidenced by its performance on Steam, where it reached over 1.3 million concurrent players, despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this success to their extensive promotional efforts, including global video game event appearances and an open beta test that allowed players to experience the game firsthand.

Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug

In response to player feedback, Monster Hunter Wilds has released a crucial update to address several bugs that were hindering gameplay. On March 4, 2025, Monster Hunter's official support account, Monster Hunter Status, announced via Twitter (X) that the hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 is now available across all platforms. This update resolves issues such as the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking as expected, the Monster Field Guide being inaccessible, and a critical bug that blocked story progression in Chapter 5-2, "A World Turned Upside Down." Players are required to update the game to continue playing online.

However, not all bugs have been fixed in this update. Issues such as network errors when firing an SOS flare after a quest begins, and Palico’s blunt weapon attacks not inflicting stun and exhaust damages, remain unresolved. These multiplayer-related bugs are expected to be addressed in a forthcoming patch.
