This feature is intricately linked to a karma system that monitors the actions of characters, influencing not only their current lives but also their existence beyond death.
The karma system plays a pivotal role in determining a character's afterlife. Depending on their deeds, characters may either find peace and transition to the afterlife or be condemned to remain as ghosts among the living. For those who become ghosts, the path to finally departing the mortal realm involves accumulating the necessary karma points to resolve their lingering issues.

In the early access version of InZOI, players will encounter ghosts, but the ability to control them will be introduced in future updates. The developers have stressed that InZOI fundamentally focuses on simulating real life, with paranormal elements integrated subtly to enhance the gameplay without overwhelming it.
